Abstract
El presente artículo analiza el comportamiento ejercido por la Sociedad Nacional de Agricultura
(SNA) para la suscripción de acuerdos internacionales por parte del Estado chileno, tales como
Mercosur, Canadá, Unión Europea, Estados Unidos y China. El objetivo es conocer cuál ha sido el
comportamiento de la colectividad, para aportar a la reciente literatura que la caracteriza como
grupo de presión. El trabajo de carácter exploratorio se desarrolló mediante la metodología
cualitativa del estudio de caso. Este artículo especifica la manera en que se ha ejercido y la postura
que ha promovido la organización frente a la liberalización de las relaciones comerciales chilenas
desde 1994 hasta 2014.
This article analyzes the behavior played by the National Society of Agriculture for the signing of international agreements by the Chilean State, which correspond to Mercosur, Canada, European Union, United States and China. The objective is to know what has been the behavior of the community, to contribute to the recent literature that characterizes her as a pressure group. Work through the qualitative methodology of case study describes such a relationship. This article specifies the manner in which it has been exercised and the posture that has promoted the organization of Chilean trade relations since 1994 until 2014.
