Abstract
Este artículo hace hincapié en que el Derecho de Acceso a la
Información Pública es una herramienta clave para la formación y consolidación
de una participación ciudadana que reconfigura la noción de lo público en el
Chile de hoy. La actualidad exige un Estado moderno, eficaz, transparente y
participativo que logre sintonizar y hacerse cargo de los desafíos que las
demandas ciudadanas le plantean.
This article makes emphasis in the fact that the Right to Access to Public Information is a key element to the formation and consolidation of a citizen participation that reconfigures the notion of the public sphere in present Chile. The present time demands a modern State, effective, transparent and participative that accomplishes to sintonice and take responsibility with the challenges that the citizen demands raise.
