Abstract
El siguiente artículo abordará una panorámica general la
situación migratoria en la región, detallando las principales corrientes
migratorias y normativas vigentes, para luego dar paso al estudio detallado
sobre la legislación migratoria chilena, las cifras actuales y los compromisos
regionales asumidos por el Estado. Estos componentes permitirán comprender la
actual situación de Chile, y el rezago de una política no contingente a su
presente.
The following article will address a general outlook of the immigration situation in the region, detailing the mainstream migrations and current regulations to give way to the detailed study on the Chilean immigration legislation, current numbers and regional commitments assumed by the State. These components contribute to an understanding of the current situation of Chile, and the backwardness of a not contingent policy on its present.
