Abstract
Este artículo busca establecer los avances en la relación sino-chilena tras la firma del Tratado de
Libre Comercio (TLC) del año 2005 hasta el 2015, examinando bajo la teoría liberal los principales
sucesos acontecidos durante este periodo. En primer lugar, se observará la importancia que da
China a esta relación, para posteriormente ver la percepción chilena. En segundo lugar, se
describirán los avances de la relación en materia política, económica y de cooperación. Para
efectos de esta, el factor político se observará bajo la frecuencia de visitas de alto nivel y
reuniones parlamentarias. El factor económico será entendido según la canasta comercial, los
nuevos acuerdos comerciales concretados entre estas dos naciones y la Inversión Extranjera
Directa. Mientras que la cooperación será medida a través del intercambio cultural, impartición de
idiomas e intercambio universitario y los nuevos tratados en materia de cooperación. Para
finalizar, se determinará el estado en el que se encuentra la relación bilateral y la forma en que
debe ser tratada en el futuro.
This article tries to establish the current state Sino-Chilean affairs after the signing of the FreeTrade Agreement (FTA), which ran from 2005 to 2015, to check on the main events of the liberal paradigms who took place during such this period of time. First of all, we will overview the importance of this agreement to China, eventually see the Chilean perception to it. The second part describes the progress of three factors, political, economic and cooperation. For this purpose, the political factor will be seen under the frequency of high-level visits and parliamentary meetings. The economic factor will be understood according to the trade-basket, the new commercial agreements agree by two nations and the Foreign Direct Investment. The cooperation factor will be measured through cultural exchange, new agreements on both collaborative and impart language and university exchange. Finally, the articles will overview the state of the current bilateral relations between the nations and the way they should be treated in the future.
